The intersection has now reopened, Roanoke County Police Department said.

ORIGINAL STORY:
A single-vehicle accident at the intersection of Hersberger Road and Bluebell Lane has led to the road being temporarily closed, Roanoke County Police Department said.
RCPD said a power pole was struck around 10:53 a.m. on Friday, which has also caused a power disruption in the area. Officers expect the road to be closed for an “extended period of time.” The initial accident resulted in minor injuries.
