Crews respond to fire at Kaizen Jiu Jitsu in Roanoke

ROANOKE, Va. – Crews responded to reports of a working fire in Southwest Roanoke on Friday, Roanoke Fire-EMS said.

Authorities said responded to reports of a fire at Kaizen Jiu Jitsu on Ashlawn Street SW around 2:16 p.m. on Friday. Upon arrival, crews found smoke showing from the building.

As of 2:51 p.m., the fire was marked under control, and no injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
