(AP Photo/Jeff Roberson)NEW YORK โ Avery Williamson is going from winless to undefeated. The New York Jets agreed Sunday night to trade the veteran linebacker to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Jets also are sending a 2022 seventh-round draft pick to the Steelers for Pittsburgh's 2022 fifth-rounder. Bell signed a few days later with Kansas City and ran for 7 yards on six carries against his former team Sunday.
AP sources: Jets LB C.J. Mosley opting out of NFL season
NEW YORK New York Jets linebacker C.J. The people spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity Saturday because the team hadn't announced Mosley's decision. Mosley joins a growing list of players who are choosing to not play this season if there is a season amid concerns about the coronavirus pandemic. The Jets also have veteran Avery Williamson returning from a torn ACL that sidelined him for all of last season. But Mosley's decision to opt out will likely mean Williamson will remain on the roster and likely take over as the signal-calling quarterback on defense.
Von Millerโs 95-game starting streak over due to hurt knee
Von Millerโs 95-game starting streak is over because of an injured left knee. The Denver Broncos star edge rusher hurt his left knee at Buffalo last week and is inactive against the Los Angeles Chargers. He wore a cap and shorts as he tested out the knee on the field a few hours before kickoff.
