Crews respond to house fire in SE Roanoke

ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - Crews were on the scene of a house fire Thursday.
Dispatchers confirmed the fire was at a home on Greenbrier Avenue in the southeast part of the city. Roanoke Fire-EMS Captain Jeff Peay said the fire was under control before 8:30 p.m.
When crews arrived, they found smoke coming from one room of a home. It was unoccupied. There were no injuries.
The fire's cause was under investigation.
