This holiday season, Sa'fyre isn't asking for Barbie dolls or clothes — she's asking for Christmas cards.

Her paternal aunt, Liz Dolder, who has custody of Sa'fyre, bought a Christmas card holder. According to Dolder's Facebook page, Sa'fyre said, "I can't wait to fill up the card tree" to which her aunt responded, "I don't think it's going to get filled up, but I am sure we will get a few more cards."

Since Sa'fyre doesn't have much remaining immediate family, her aunt extended a request to her Facebook followers to send in greetings for their card tree.

What she didn't expect was the outpouring of love, support, and Christmas cards that Sa'fyre woiuld actually receive. Since her original post, Sa'fyre's Christmas card request has gone viral and has been picked up by Buzzfeed, the Today Show, and more.
