ROANOKE, Va. – A 17-year-old boy was shot in the leg Sunday afternoon, according to Roanoke City Police.
The shooting happened around 1:15 p.m. at the corner of 17th Street Northwest and Orange Avenue Northwest.

The boy was taken to the hospital, but police did not release his identity or condition.
Police said no arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
