CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. – The town of Christiansburg's search for a town manager continues.
The council had narrowed it down to a few finalists but after the interview process, no one was hired.
Now, according to a town spokesperson, the council is renewing the search and has contracted a firm based out of Richmond to handle the process. The town will pay that firm more than $19,000 to assist in the search.
As we have reported, the previous town manager died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound back in April.
