Police asking for information after bomb threat at South Boston business

SOUTH BOSTON, Va. – Authorities found no explosives or suspicious items at a South Boston business after someone called in a bomb threat there Monday morning.

The call came in at about 11:30 a.m. with a report of a bomb at Integrated Textile Solutions on Parker Avenue in South Boston.

The South Boston Police Department, joined by Virginia State Police and deputies from the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office, responded to the business shortly after.

On-site managers evacuated all employees and authorities were at the business for about two hours, using explosive-sniffing dogs to check the building.

Police said there currently aren’t any suspects.
