WATCH: Senator Tim Kaine on loss of Pope Francis
Senator Tim Kaine reflected, on the loss of Pope Francis on his Facebook page Monday. The senator remembered meeting the Pope in Rome where they spoke in Spanish about the need to provide hospitality to refugees. What happened next is something that sticks with him to this day.
“At the end of our five-minute conversation, he looked at me and switched to English and said, “Pray for me,” and he put a rosary in my hands," Kaine said.
