The Galax-Carroll-Grayson Animal Shelter announced that the shelter would close temporarily due to an upcoming renovation project to replace its indoor dog kennels.

With the funding raised, we’ve made huge strides toward creating a cleaner, more comfortable environment that will help our dogs thrive while they wait for their forever homes,” said Conor Haecherl, Animal Shelter Supervisor for Galax-Carroll-Grayson Animal Shelter.
