Gov. Ralph Northam gave an update on the state’s response to the coronavirus pandemic on Wednesday.
At 2 p.m., he talked about both the Commonwealth’s COVID-19 response and the vaccination plans.
Wednesday’s news conference was his 12th briefing regarding COVID-19 since he ended his bi-weekly conferences back in June.
Prior to Wednesday, Northam gave his last update on Dec. 10.
On Tuesday, 10 News reported that the governor would talk about a push to bring kids back into classrooms across Virginia.
However, about 75 minutes after our report, the Virginia Department of Education reached out to us to let us know that Northam would not be addressing that issue.
