CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. – The new year will bring some new life to a shopping center in the New River Valley.
Dollar Tree, Hobby Lobby and Aldi will all open sometime in 2018 at the shopping center that is under construction on North Franklin Street in Christiansburg. It's on the site of a former Kmart.
The sign for Dollar Tree is already up. It is expected to open first.
A spokesperson for Hobby Lobby said the store will have a soft opening on March 9.
Aldi said its supermarket is not expected to open until the summer.
