Redskins Waive Jarrett

WASHINGTON (WSLS-10 SPORTS) -Former Hokies safety Kyshoen Jarrett has been waived by the Redskins as training camp approaches this week.

The 2015 sixth round pick failed his physical.   He suffered a shoulder injury that resulted in a nerve damage issue in Washington's regular season finale against the Cowboys.

In 16 regular season games Jarrett finished 6th on the Redskins in tackles with 63 along with two passes defended and a forced fumble.

He played 602 defensive snaps and 102 special teams snaps in his rookie year. Redskins training camp is set to open in Richmond on Thursday the 28th.
