Social media pushes for answers in decades old Covington cold case murder
COVINGTON, Va – A new push on social media is hoping to solve a decades-old question: Who killed Aggie Albert? So in one last push, Beckstoffer started a new Facebook page in hopes of getting any information about what happened to aggie that night. AdEsther Agnes Albert was born April 19, 1923 in Covington, Virginia. “They just don’t have the right information to solve the case, but it’s not because they’re not trying,” Beckstoffer said. Documentary premiering on YouTube details hunt for information in Appomattox County cold case
APPOMATTOX COUNTY, Va. A documentary to be released on YouTube Wednesday night centers around a local cold case from 1978. Someone murdered Alfred Harwood Doc Coleman in the Oakville community of Appomattox County 42 years ago. That someone was never caught, according to the Appomattox County Sheriffs Office. The Sheriffs Office re-interviewed witnesses and re-evaluated evidence, and the documentary gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the hunt for information.
