Governor Abigail Spanberger has issued a flag order on Friday asking agencies and institutions of the Commonwealth to display the POW/MIA flag at full staff as part of Armed Forces Day.

The Commonwealth of Virginia will display the POW/MIA flag on all public buildings on Veterans Day, Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, in honor of members of the U.S. Armed Forces who were prisoners of war or reported missing in action.

More than 80,000 soldiers have still not returned.
