The parade was put together by VFW Post #7854 and American Legion Post #127, while the Floyd County Woman’s Club put out a USO-style canteen.

Hundreds of people lined the streets of Downtown Roanoke to salute the men and women who have served the United States for the Virginia Veteran’s Parade.
