SALEM (WSLS10) –A man was taken to the hospital after he was stabbed at a Burger King in Salem Friday night.
According to Police it happened at the Burger King on Sheraton Drive. The victim was stabbed in the upper torso after police say two men who were traveling together got into a fight.

Police say the man was taken to the hospital, but is expected to recover.
The suspect was located at the scene and identified as Scott Edward Gilmer, 59, of Staunton.
Gilmer has been charged with Aggravated Malicious Wounding and is being held
at the Roanoke County/Salem jail without bond. The investigation is
