AMHERST COUNTY (WSLS 10) - A Madison Heights man is being held without bond on several charges following an investigation into a domestic dispute.
The incident happened on Friday, July 24 along Spinner Street in Madison Heights.

While at the home, deputies say they discovered marijuana and cocaine, along with two firearms. As a result, Alexander Oneal Reid, 28, was arrested on several charges.
Reid is charged with Possession With the Intent to Distribute a Schedule II Drug, to wit Cocaine, Possession With the Intent to Distribute Marijuana, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
In addition to the arrests, cash and property were seized as a part of a civil Asset Forfeiture proceeding.
Reid is currently being held at the Blue Ridge Regional Jail without bond pending a preliminary hearing in the Amherst General District Court.
