ROANOKE (WSLS10) - A group of veterans walked 22-miles Tuesday in the Star City to raise awareness about veteran suicide prevention. We met up with the group at the 11-mile mark.
Local marine, Corey Jackson said on average 22-veterans a day commit suicide.

Jackson served from 2010 to 2014. A fellow marine and friend of Jackson's took his own life.
Jackson said it could all be prevented which is why this group is marching.
