MONTGOMERY COUNTY (WSLS 10) - Crews worked for hours overnight to clear a tractor trailer accident. It happened around 1 a.m. Monday on I-81 at mile marker 126 in Montgomery County . VDOT said you could expect major delays.
The south left shoulder and left lane were closed and traffic backups were about one mile during the cleanup.
VDOT said the road is expected to be cleared by 7 a.m. but as of 8 a.m. there were still backups up to 1.5 miles.
