Missing Bedford County woman located

UPDATE:  The Bedford County Sheriff's Office says that Wendy Wilson was located in the city of Roanoke Saturday evening.

She is no longer considered a missing person.

UPDATE: The Bedford County Sheriff's Office has learned Wendy Wilson was last seen in Martinsville around 2 p.m. Wednesday.

According to authorities, she was last seen at the Family Dollar wearing a black dress, black high heels and a baseball cap.

Wilson told the witness her car broke down in Roanoke and she was looking for a way back to Roanoke.

It is unclear if her medical condition has anything to do with her disappearance.

BEDFORD CO. (WSLS 10) The Bedford County Sheriff's Office needs helping locating Wendy Renee Wilson, 29, of Bedford.

She was last seen on Thursday, February 23 in the Town of Bedford.

She is 5'3'', 135lbs, hazel eyes, black hair.  She has a scar on her head from ear to ear due to recent brain surgery.  She has tattoos of stars on her back and neck as well as a tattoo of a flower on her foot.  She is driving a 2003 Gold Honda Accord with Virginia license VNS-5552.

Anyone with information on Wendy's whereabouts is asked to call the Bedford County Sheriff's Office at 540-586-7827.
