BOTETOURT COUNTY, Va. – Two hikers are safe after getting lost overnight on the Peaks of Otter.
The emergency call went out at 9:05 p.m. Sunday, according to the Botetourt County Sheriff's Office. The hikers got lost on Flat Top Mountain, which is one of the three mountains making up the Peaks of Otter in Jefferson National Forest.

Rescue crews found the hikers around 3 a.m. Monday. They were cold but not injured.
