BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. – The Bedford County Sheriff will retire at the end of the year, according to the Bedford County Sheriff's Office.
After 24 years, Sheriff Michael Brown will no seek another term as sheriff.
A reason for his retirement has not been provided.
