Police were looking for two people in their early teens, based on information the officers had received.

Now, though, police say that information was not accurate.

Charges for filing a false police report have not been announced. Investigators, at this point, believe that the woman who reported it legitimately thought that there was a robbery and abduction.

A police spokesperson did not know why the woman may have thought that.

Police are searching for two suspects in a robbery and abduction incident in Danville, according to the Danville Police Department.

The alleged incident happened on Crown Drive, according to police. Authorities say they took the report, which was initially described as a 'firearm-related incident,' at the Abundant Life Church. Authorities say the incident did not involve the church and no injuries were reported.
