ROANOKE, Va. – Roanoke Mayor Sherman Lea announced on Wednesday afternoon that Roanoke’s greenways will be closed, starting at 8 a.m Friday.
City Manager Bob Cowell said the decision was made because so many people were utilizing them.
Leaders discussed other matters during the news conference.
