William Byrd recovers fumble, takes down William Fleming in OT
The final score was 27-21
ROANOKE, Va. – District play is heating up as the 2023 1st & 10 football season dwindles down, and boy was this one tough!
A tied back-and-forth game was how this one panned out Friday night, and after a tied Q4, overtime kicked off.
But fumble! Byrd recovered the ball, then cashed in on their OT possession-- scoring the game winner.
Fleming fell in what was a tight loss Friday night, 27-21.
