HENRY COUNTY, Va. – A man was arrested following a short pursuit in Henry County on Monday, Henry County Sheriff’s Office said.
HCSO said they initiated a short pursuit in the Collinsville Community with a suspect who had been wanted for three counts of felony probation violation. The suspect was identified as Anthony Cloverdale.

Authorities said that Cloverdale was on probation for previous drug and firearm charges. Following the arrest, they found Cloverdale in possession of the following:
A firearm with an obliterated serial number
Approximately 1lb of methamphetamine
Around $5,000
Cloverdale was then charged with the following:
Three counts of Probation Violation
Possession of a firearm by a previously convicted felon.
Possession with the intent to distribute a controlled substance (methamphetamine)
Possession of a Schedule I/II drug while in possession of a firearm.
Possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number
Carrying a concealed weapon
Drive with a suspended license
Failure to stop for police

Cloverdale is currently being held in the Henry County Adult Detention Center without bond.
