VINTON, Va – A fire broke out at a house in Vinton tonight in the 200 block of Foxland Avenue.
Neighbors said the occupants operate Nomadic Paws Kitten Rescue at the home.

According to Roanoke County Fire and Rescue, all occupants, including two people and multiple cats got out safe and unharmed.
The fire was brought under control about 20 minutes after trucks arrived. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time, and remains under investigation with the Roanoke County Fire Marshal’s Office.
