Radford Boys Ready for Postseason Push

Radford (WSLS-10 Sports)-  The Radford boys are once again getting in position for a playoff run.  They've won four titles in an eight year span with the same coaching staff at all levels including the 8th grade team since the 2009 title.  Coach Rick Cormany's defending 1A state champion Bobcats are 17-5 overall, 10-0 in Three Rivers action as they head to the postseason portion of the schedule.

"For us to get back and get where we want to get to it's going to take some more balance and some more help in the scoring department. I think defensively we have to be more determined to get stops and have a more since of urgency on each stop. We're not quite there yet but I think some good hard practices and continuing to work every practice and hopefully we'll get there," explains Cormany.

"Honestly just coming out trying to be more confident about ourselves not taking shots that we're supposed to take-- but now we came out and started sitting down playing defense and doing what we do, " says senior forward Alante Doyle.

The Bobcats open conference tournament play on Monday when they host Craig Co.
