NASCAR Truck series drivers talk Martinsville

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series returns to Martinsville Speedway next Saturday. The paperclip is one of the most popular stops on the circuit for the drivers.

"The energy at Martinsville is incredible, there's so much buzz that surrounds this race, the grandfather clock, the history, what's to miss? There's so much going on at this track," said Ben Rhodes.

Ryan Truex is part of the field vying for a grandfather clock and brother of Cup Series' Martin Truex Jr.  His older brother recently won in Las Vegas and ran well in Martinsville last fall.

"He always runs really well here, he actually got the pole here last year and led like 200 laps or something. He knows how to get around here, so I definitely lean on him a lot and the biggest thing is he has so much experience I can bank on," the younger Truex explained.

Another family duo of the sport is driver Harrison Burton and his father, former driver and current NBC NASCAR analyst, Jeff Burton.

"It's been really cool, my dad has always been a really really big part of my racing career. He's taught me a lot, he's been part of this sport for so long and I really appreciate him coming out, it's a lot of help and I also think it's a lot of fun as well," he said.

The truck series race is at 3 o'clock on Saturday, April 1st. The Monster Energy Series race is the following day.
