“I’m beyond thankful for Mark Wharton and his staff for believing in me to lead this program to Southern Conference championships,” Poppie said in a release on the school’s website. “It is going to take a lot of hard work from my staff and our ladies, but I am confident with the continued support of our administration, support staff and loyal fans, we will get there TOGETHER!”
