The Bedford County Fair has been canceled yet again.

Bedford County Fair organizers announced they're postponing the event due to COVID-19 safety precautions -- and that could impact the economy.

The Bedford County Fair won’t be happening in October due to rising health concerns from local health care professionals and community leaders.

People in Bedford County are getting ready for some fair food and fun.

BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. - There's lots of family fun to be had at the Bedford County Fair this weekend at the Glenwood Center. A lot of the events are free this year, including circus performances, live music, the Old McDonald's Farm with live animals and much more. If you missed out Friday or Saturday, the fun continues Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.. There will be a community worship service, an antique car show and much more. ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - After a nearly 45 year break, the Bedford County Fair returns this weekend. The event features activities for all ages including a youth livestock show, car show as well as a wine tasting, rides, food and more. The Green Hill Highland Games return to Roanoke County. Athletes in kilts will compete in traditional Scottish sports including the weight throw, hammer throw and stone put. The games are Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
