Colder air staying away for now

ROANOKE, Va. - – After a chilly start, temperatures rebound back to around 60 degrees with the help of some sunshine. Colder air, for the time being, will stay bottled up in Canada allowing for warming air to stay locked in locally. That colder air though will likely pay us a visit by the end of next week.

Today: A few clouds with highs around 60.

Tonight: Mostly clear with lows in the low-40s.

The weekend looks pretty good with highs in the 50s and 60s. Temperatures stay mild into the start of next week before a cold front swings by on Tuesday. Rain chances increase Tuesday and Wednesday ahead of that blast of cold to close out the first week of December.
