YANCEYVILLE, N.C. (AP) - Caswell County sheriff's deputies accuse two school employees of stealing and pawning school property.
Authorities told local media outlets that an investigation started last Thursday after Superintendent Brock Womble reported some missing items.

Deputies have charged 25-year-old Emily Elizabeth Hill, of Danville, Virginia, with felony embezzlement and felony larceny. Womble said Hill, who taught at Bartlett Yancey Alternative School, has resigned.
The sheriff's office also charged 46-year-old Precilla Jean Stone, also from Danville, with felony embezzlement. Stone is the principal of Bartlett Yancey High School. Womble said Stone has been suspended with pay.
Bond for Stone is $15,000, while Hill is free on $2,000 bond. It's not known if either person has an attorney.
Investigators said electronics and computers used in classrooms have been recovered from the pawn shop.
