CHRISTIANSBURG (WSLS 10) -Â Identity theft is a growing issue. Throughout the month of May, WSLS 10 and Kodiak Shredding are teaming up to help fight it.
As we've reported, shredding is one easy way residents can help protect their identity from being stolen, and these events can save folks some money too.

At WSLS 10's first event on April 27 located at Schewel's Furniture in Lynchburg 19,000 pounds of paper were safely shredded!

Anything you bring to the designated locations will be shredded for free.
