LYNCHBURG (WSLS 10) – Lynchburg police are investigating a late night shooting that killed a 16-year-old.
The incident happened in the 1500 block of 13th Street in Lynchburg Saturday night.

Officers say when they arrived on the scene, three people had been shot - two of which were teenagers.
The two juveniles, a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old, were transported to the hospital. According to police, the 16-year-old identified as Jesse died at the hospital.
The third shooting victim is 21-year-old Dakota Scott. Police say he is receiving medical treatment and is currently in stable condition.
At this point, no arrests have been made.
This incident remains under investigation by the Lynchburg Police Department.
