DALEVILLE, Va – Some local seniors got special treatment Friday night with a prom.
Carrington Cottages in Daleville hosted a senior prom.

We stopped by as volunteers started setting up for the event and residents got glammed up.
The activities director said everyone had been looking forward to the special night.
“They were excited, just reminiscing and bringing back, you know, high school prom,” said activities director Cindy Taylor.
“Makes me feel good. It makes me feel happy. I feel like I'm going to the prom,” said resident Carol Vann.
“She looks really excited and you can tell, like, she really loves the makeup and wanting to feel beautiful and young again and I really enjoy doing that for her,” said volunteer Allison Dudley.
This is the firs- ever senior prom hosted at Carrington Cottages.
