The City’s municipal building has received a serious bomb threat. The building has been cleared and will reopen for regular business hours tomorrow morning. It appears that the threat was part of similar threats issued nationwide.

The City of Roanoke Municipal Building is being evacuated due to a "credible bomb threat," according to communications and media officer Melinda Mayo.Â
The building is at 215 Church Avenue SW in downtown Roanoke.Â
