LEXINGTON, Va. – Bring in fall weather with a family-friendly event at Hull’s Drive-In for a good cause.
Wednesday, Oct. 19, Lexington’s Hull’s Drive-In is hosting an event with Be the Match for a fall fundraiser featuring the following activities:
- Petting Zoo,
- Trunk-or-Treat,
- Inflatable Frankenstein Slide and Bounce House for the kids,
- Costume Competition judged by Mayor Friedman and Laurie from Laurie in the Morning,
- Car Decoration Contest,
- Movies “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” (7:10pm start) and “Ghostbusters.”
Admission is $20 per car and proceeds will go to the Be The Match Organization, which helps cure blood cancers and disorders.
“All of the proceeds after expenses go to supporting Be the Match. They will be here this evening as well. So, if you want to sign up to get into the bone marrow donor program, you can do that,” said Executive Director Lauren Summers.
