Avoid Virginia Avenue in Vinton if you can!
We’re told the westbound lanes of Virginia Avenue between Chestnut and S. Pollard Streets are closed due to a vehicle that ran into a power pole.
AEP is reporting that there are 255 customers currently without power in the Vinton area.
At this time, AEP crews are working to ensure that the area is safe for traffic.
