Coast Guard officials held a news conference on Thursday afternoon with the latest on the search for the missing submersible.

This comes after the search for a missing submersible with five people aboard took a bleak turn when the U.S. Coast Guard said a debris field was found at the bottom of the ocean near the Titanic, and the critical 96-hour mark passed when breathable air could have run out.

Within the press conference, officials detailed the latest developments of the investigation, saying the crew of the ship is presumed to be dead, and that the debris is consistent with the catastrophic loss.
