Group trespasses on private land; destroys surveillance system

ROANOKE COUNTY (WSLS 10) - The Department of Game and Inland Fisheries is asking for the public's help in identifying a group of males who trespassed on a private heavily posted rock quarry in the Glenvar area of Roanoke County.

According to Conservation Police Officer Joseph Williams, on Thursday, August 13 the group trespassed at the quarry then destroyed a surveillance camera system that is owned by the Dept. of Game and Inland Fisheries in an attempt to not get caught.

Williams says all the suspects are wanted for questioning in connection to the trespassing and destruction of state property.
