ROANOKE COUNTY (WSLS 10) - The Fire Marshal has determined the cause of a fatal house fire in Roanoke County was accidental.
According to the Roanoke County Fire and Rescue Department, it happened in the 5700 block of Enchanted Lane around 5:15 a.m. Monday.

The Fire Marshal said the fire started in the kitchen, but because of the heavy fire damage, a specific cause is undetermined.
The medical examiner also identified the victim as Mark Coles, 61. The cause of death was determined to be smoke inhalation and thermal burns.
About $125,000 worth of damage was done.
