Tuesday, Carilion Clinic welcomed a new $32 million dollar orthopedics and neuroscience facility in Roanoke. The hospital's president said this new state of the ark facility will provide multiple services and will house 125 patient rooms, nine treatment rooms, and eight diagnosis imaging rooms.
After almost a year of renovations, construction on this 116,000 square foot building is complete. In total the project costs $32 million dollars. The property cost $7 million, architectural drawings, construction and permits rang in at $17.5 million, and $7.3 million went towards purchasing new equipment.
The institute for orthopedics and neurosciences facility will open to the public on Monday, January 25th, 2016.
