Hearings rescheduled for accused pair in Nicole Lovell case

CHRISTIANSBURG (WSLS 10) - David Eisenhauer and Natalie Keepers' preliminary hearings have been rescheduled for May 20, following a delay earlier this month.

Eisenhauer, the former Virginia Tech Student accused of first-degree murder in the death of 13-year-old Nicole Lovell, and Keepers, the former Virginia Tech student charged with being an accessory and with helping dispose of Lovellā€™s body were scheduled to appear in Montgomery County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on March 28, but the defense for both asked for a continuance.

At the time of the request, lawyers indicated a need for additional preparation time and the Commonwealth indicated it had not yet received the final Medical Examiner's report, according to a news release from the Commonwealth's Attorney's office.

Both hearings are set for 9 a.m.
