Crews finish repairs after water main break on Peters Creek Road

ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - Water service has been restored after a water main break in Roanoke on Wednesday.

The break of the 12-inch diameter water main happened near the intersection of Peters Creek Road and Longwood Avenue before 7 a.m..

The Western Virginia Water Authority says paving restoration wrapped up shortly before 5 p.m.

Both northbound lanes of Peters Creek Road are now back open.
