HAMPTON, Va. – An officer and a suspect were shot Monday in Hampton, according to WAVY.
The NBC affiliate reports the shooting happened in the parking lot of Hampton Towne Centre.
Police say the officer is in good condition, while the suspect is in serious condition.
WAVY reports that police originally said all officers were OK, but later confirmed that an officer had been shot.
The officer-involved shooting happened when police responded to a reported business robbery, authorities say.
