GILES COUNTY, Va. – UPDATE, 11:40 a.m.
Authorities say one person was killed in an accident in Giles County on Monday morning.

According to police, the crash happened just after 9 a.m. in Pembroke along US-460 near Hilton Street.
The Pembroke Police Department says the crash is still under investigation.
Authorities have not released the name of the victim.
