Diamond: 30 Days of Hope

Diamond enjoys going to church, journaling, crafting, walking, working out

There are more than 600 children who are ready for adoption in Virginia. They are ready to find a permanent and loving forever family. 10 News is profiling one child who needs a home every day at 6 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. in 30 Days of Hope. The children are all ages and races and were put into foster care due to no fault of their own. 2021 marks the fifth year 10 News is doing this series.

Meet Diamond!

Diamond is a teen about to age out of the foster care system.

Diamond is a young person that is loving, kind and full of laughter. Diamond would love a forever family who is very patient with her and is dedicated to creating a life of love and stability with her.

Diamond has dreams of having her own family that will take her on vacations. Diamond would love to go to the beach with her new family.

Going to church, journaling, crafting, walking, working out and listening to music are among the hobbies she’s most interested in.

Born with a creative mind, this sweet teen is articulate, a good listener, a great writer, very respectful, artistic and attentive.

She does well in school as she’s very social and enjoys being around peers her age.

Diamond has a huge sense of family. Diamond maintains contact with her biological family and wants her new forever family to encourage her communication with them.

Diamond has visions for her future and wants to be successful, but most importantly, she wants a family of her own. Could you be the forever family for Diamond?
