Roanoke City School’s RCPS+ program begins

ROANOKE, Va. – Kids in Roanoke are enjoying their summer vacation, but some are continuing to learn with RCPS+.

Tuesday was the first day of the free summer learning program, hosted by Roanoke City Public Schools.

Students in kindergarten through eighth grade are provided with engaging, hands-on activities to promote critical thinking and creativity.

It’s a six-week program running now through the end of July.

This year’s theme is “Find Your Voice.”
